Good to know
A good carpet job is mostly preparation. We check the subfloor, uplift and dispose of old carpet where needed, fit fresh gripper and the right underlay, then stretch and trim the new carpet with tidy edges, joins and door bars.
Underlay matters more than most people expect: it changes how the carpet feels, how warm the room is and how long the pile lasts. We will recommend the right grade for bedrooms, stairs and busy family rooms rather than a one-size default.
Common questions
How long does carpet fitting take?
A standard bedroom is usually done in a couple of hours. Stairs and landings take longer because of the trimming and joins involved, but most homes are finished within a day.
Can you remove and dispose of the old carpet?
Yes. We can uplift the old carpet and underlay, dispose of it responsibly and check the subfloor before the new carpet goes down.
Do you supply the carpet or just fit it?
Both. Most customers ask us to supply and fit so the material, underlay and fitting are all covered by one team, but fitting-only is fine too.
