What we do
Parquet is one of the strongest visual upgrades for Richmond, Chiswick, Kew and Barnes homes. Layout matters, so we plan the room, borders and direction before fitting.
- Herringbone and chevron layouts
- Engineered parquet blocks
- Parquet restoration and repairs
- Sanding and finishing

Good to know
We lay herringbone, chevron and block parquet in both engineered and solid formats. Layout is planned from the centre of the room so the pattern stays symmetrical, with borders and thresholds worked out before any glue goes down.
Existing parquet can very often be restored rather than replaced: loose blocks re-bonded, damaged blocks matched and replaced, then the whole floor sanded and refinished.
Common questions
Is parquet suitable over underfloor heating?
Engineered parquet is usually the right choice over underfloor heating because it stays stable with temperature changes. We will advise on the specific board build-up before you order.
Can you restore my existing parquet floor?
Usually yes. Loose or damaged blocks can be re-bonded or replaced with matched reclaimed blocks, then the floor is sanded and finished to look new while keeping its character.
How long does a parquet hallway take?
A typical hallway takes two to four days depending on subfloor preparation, pattern and finish. We give a clear timescale with the written quote.
