When you use the contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide: your name, phone number, email address, job type, area or room size, and project details.
We use this information to respond, prepare or discuss a quote, arrange a visit and manage your enquiry. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and our legitimate interest in responding to genuine business enquiries.
When you tap a phone, WhatsApp or email button, we record the page, button, referring source, coarse city and country, limited browser or device information, and a one-way hashed value derived from the IP address. The user-agent is limited to 120 characters, and the raw IP address is not stored. We do not record your WhatsApp, telephone or email conversation.
Contact-form enquiries are emailed through Postmark to info@fitzgeraldflooring.co.uk. Enquiries and contact-action records are also stored in Cloudflare KV, with Cloudflare acting as a processor for this website.
We keep enquiry records until the job is closed or for 12 months, whichever is sooner. We delete them earlier when a valid deletion request applies. Phone, WhatsApp and email tap-event records expire after 90 days.
Cloudflare Web Analytics provides cookieless website-usage measurements. We also use a first-party localStorage item to remember how a visitor first reached the site and the first landing page, so an enquiry can include that source. It is not used for cross-site tracking.
We do not use advertising cookies.
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. To exercise a right or ask us to delete an enquiry, email info@fitzgeraldflooring.co.uk.
