Good to know
Luxury vinyl tile succeeds or fails on subfloor preparation. We level, ply or screed as needed so the finished floor is flat, quiet and free of telegraphed bumps, then fit click or glue-down LVT to suit the room.
Wood, stone and patterned designs all work well in kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and utility rooms where real timber would struggle with moisture and wear.
Common questions
Is LVT waterproof?
LVT itself is highly water-resistant, which is why it suits kitchens and bathrooms. Good fitting and sealed edges keep water out of the subfloor beneath.
Can LVT go over my existing floor?
Sometimes, but the surface must be sound and flat. Tiles and boards usually need levelling or ply first. We check this at the survey and include any preparation in the quote.
Does LVT work with underfloor heating?
Yes, most quality LVT ranges are rated for underfloor heating. We check the manufacturer limits for the specific product before fitting.
